John Lewis Leeds opened on the 20th October 2016. These are the pre-opening photos I took for Brookerflynn Architects who were responsible for the internal fitting our works. The shop is unusual in having five trading levels rather than the more usual three or four, and it showcases the latest stripped back look with bare concrete columns and large areas without ceilings. As usual the shopfitting and merchandise presentation is superb. Building shell design is by Friedrich Ludewig, ACME Architects.
